According to Yeow, he was surprised and happy with the win as he did not expect to win anything when he visited the carnival.
He said he decided to visit the carnival as he had free time to spare and had wanted to witness the activities of held during the carnival for himself.
"This is something that I will remember for a long time. I have enjoyed my stay here in Melaka and this win will make it even sweeter," he told reporters during the event.
Yeow received a hamper, a certificate, free coupons and several books published by Perzim for being named the 250,000th visitor to the museum.
All the prizes were handed over to him by the Deputy Chairman of Perzim's Board of Director, Datuk Aziz Abd Ghani.
Meanwhile, Perzim General Manager, Khamis Abas said the ceremony held was part of Perzim's efforts in honouring those who had help in making museums in Melaka among the most visited destinations in the State.
He said all 22 museums and five galleries in the State had recorded a total visitors of 250,000 so far this year and this is something which can be proud of.
"This is an increase and it is a result of Perzim's continuous efforts to promote our museums as among the must visit destinations in Melaka among visitors.
"This promotion will be continuously carried out by Perzim. We will also continue to forge ties with other agencies in the bid to promote tourist destinations in Melaka to visitors, particularly foreign visitors," he added.
